Strain as you must to make sure
that precious Life is what you secure
to dearly hold on to, with all your might,
against the dragons and horrors of fright,
if Life seems vulnerable to loss.
Keep it near you, you're the boss.
Then relax. You've got it secure
against death's pernicious lure.
Death declares itself the more pure.
But I retort: "I'm not so sure,
but aim to hold on, for dear Life,
to my dearest asset: my Life.
Otherwise, I'm turmoiled in strife."
